My name is Ben Williams and I founded Silver Compass due to a real love of travel and a passion for great service.
Whenever I possibly can I like to go away, whether it be for an active holiday, a food & drink adventure or just to lie by a pool or on a beach and totally relax. It may also seem bizarre to some people but I also love the process of searching for and booking holidays, and the more specific the criteria the better, I see it as a challenge and I love challenges! It bothers me that I won’t get to see every square inch of the earth in my lifetime so if I don’t have the time to visit somewhere, I’d at least like to be aware of its existence and to know enough about it to almost feel like I’ve been there. It is this thirst for knowledge that has seen me travel extensively and research even more destinations.
I also strongly believe in treating each customer as an individual and it gives me great pleasure to tick all the boxes of a customer’s criteria list. It is engrained in the Silver Compass mentality never to try and sell something because I believe it would be right for us, we will always search for something that is right for you, based on the information that you give us during our conversations.
